What Happens in a Session
In a session, we begin by confirming you are in a private place and feel safe to talk. Then we let you speak at your pace while your therapist listens actively — reflecting the key feelings and themes, asking gentle clarifying questions, and helping you organise what is happening.
If emotions rise, we slow down and use simple grounding so you do not feel overwhelmed.
You finish with a short plan of action: one or two next steps you can do within the next few days, plus one coping tool for the moment you feel flooded again. Some people book one session for immediate relief; others continue with deeper work once they feel safe.
Either way, you remain in control — no pressure, no judgement, just a clear next step forward
