What Happens in a Session
In sessions, we begin with a present day trigger: a conflict, a criticism, a feeling of being ignored, or an intense fear. Then we explore what the younger part of you is trying to protect — and what it needed at the time. We use gentle reflection, imagery if you are comfortable, and practical “re parenting” language that builds safety from the inside.
Each session ends with a small reparenting practice and one practical next step — such as a boundary script, a self soothing routine, or a new way to speak to yourself during triggers. The goal is not to relive pain; the goal is to build a safer internal base so life feels less overwhelming.
